solution - Problem of candy bars

 

 Answer : Number of Candy Bars = 26

           Number of kids in the party = 9

No of candies that were taken back = 8

No. of candies taken back from each kid = 1

Number of kids whose candies were taken back = 8

Number of kids in the party = 8 +1  = 9

Candies were distributed  2 per kid. 

 Number of Candy bars  = (9 x 2) + 8  = 26
